Aayurveda tips and guidelines for Rainy Season (Monsoon)

If we keep our eating habits and lifestyle according to the season then we can prevent disease or illness to much extent. Every season has its own merits and efficacies.. and shortcomings and fallacies as well. Keeping them in mind, we should try to indulge in such eating habits and lifestyles ( aachar-vichaar and aahar-vihar ) which increase the merits and suppress the shortcomings. In this article of Biovatica.com we have listed some Ayurveda tips guidelines to stay healthy and disease-free in the rainy season (Monsoon).

Out of six seasons of the year, there are two seasons which not only affect our body but also affect our psyche. These two seasons are – spring season and rainy season. Rainy season arrives at a time when all living creatures, vegetation, universe, river, well, ponds and lakes are haunted and dried from the heat of summer. In this situation cool shower, cold fragrant wind and greenery provides much relief. In Ayurveda, rainy season is considered the end of aadankaal and start of visargkaal . In this belief rainy season brings the strength and power for all living creatures. But also, there comes some diseases and health problems which arrive with the rainy season. For which we will have to take some precautions. Ayurveda has warned about this.
